The past three months have been a very special experience for me.
While designing and developing our own Eastern Fortune · Fortune & Virtue Plan product, I began using AI extensively and in depth. For the first time, I truly brought AI agents into product design, content creation, technical collaboration, and daily work.
Before, I knew about AI. Over these three months, I have actually been working alongside AI.
The experience feels completely different.
As a designer, I feel this change especially deeply.
In the past, much of the time spent at a computer was not truly devoted to creativity. It was consumed by repetitive, mechanical, and tedious operations. From the moment an idea appeared to the moment it became a finished work, there were often countless steps of execution, adjustment, revision, and trial and error.
AI agents are changing that process.
Now I spend more of my time asking: What problem am I trying to solve? What do I want to communicate? What does the client truly need? What value should this product bring to people?
Much of the repetitive execution in between can be completed with AI assistance.
For the first time, I can clearly feel that AI is freeing more than our time. It is freeing human creativity.
After working closely with AI, I also discovered something very interesting.
AI can move quickly, process vast amounts of information, and carry out tasks tirelessly. Yet the person still determines the direction.
Human experience, taste, emotion, judgment, values, and the ability to understand another person remain deeply important.
That is why I increasingly do not believe the future is about AI replacing people.
I look forward to a different future:
Humans and AI coexisting and collaborating.
Let AI handle what it does best and free people from large amounts of mechanical work. People can then devote more time to creativity, judgment, communication, emotion, and the things that create genuine value.
These three months are only a beginning, but they have filled me with excitement about the future.
I believe future AI agents will be more than tools. They may become intelligent receptionists for businesses, customer service representatives, sales assistants, work assistants, and increasingly capable digital partners who understand how to support each of us.
For businesses—especially small and medium-sized companies and entrepreneurs—this creates an entirely new opportunity. Work that once required a full team may increasingly be accomplished through human–AI collaboration at lower cost and with greater efficiency.
As both a designer and an entrepreneur who is personally using AI to build products, I feel fortunate to be standing at the beginning of this transformation.
I do not know where AI will ultimately take us.
But after these three months, I am more certain of one thing:
The future is not a competition between humans and AI. It will be a new era created by people who understand how to collaborate with AI.
Embracing AI is not simply about embracing a new technology. It is about embracing a new way of working and a future filled with possibility.
